The General Authority of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia has launched a new licensing package characterized by simple and clear procedures allowing those who wish to start their activities and practices, in accordance with the adoption of the best technical practices .
It should be noted that hundreds of investors and stakeholders from the entertainment industry, as well as stakeholders from government and private entities, attended the exhibition's induction on this occasion, held at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Investors were informed of models illustrating the licensing mechanism.
In an interview with Al Arabiya, Majid Al Hokair, chairman of the Saudi Chambers Council's National Tourism, Events and Entertainment Committee, said the measures were aimed at encouraging and regulating the entertainment market, which had previously been government agencies, municipalities, civil defense and the Saudi Standards Authority. They are all together to unite investors in the entertainment industry.
He pointed out that entertainment does not include a specific area, but "entertainment events, shows, activities, amusement parks, entertainment centers, crowd management and sends a reassuring message to the serious investor in quality control ".
