The Saudi Ministry of Health has recommended a set of healthy daily habits to “support the youth.”
These recommendations were contained in an “infographic” published by the ministry on its main outreach platform, “Vivre bien”, on Twitter.
Breakfast is at the top of the ministry’s list of healthy habits because it considers it helps increase productivity at work.
She also advised to pay attention to the diet, where the body’s needs should be met, and not to exceed the daily calorie limit.
And she called for learning new skills to keep the mind and mind active, which delays the effect of aging on the brain.
She stressed the importance of sleeping 7-9 hours a day, while keeping specific times for sleeping and waking up, which helps achieve activity and focus.
She advised to stay away from smart devices and spend time reading, talking with family and friends.
She encouraged spending time in the sun in the fresh air, taking care to meditate on nature, noting that it helps focus.
She also stressed the importance of movement for improving focus and activity, noting that a person needs 150 minutes of exercise and movement per week.
Finally, the ministry stressed the importance of drinking water for controlling body temperature, blood pressure and heart rate, and urged people not to smoke of any kind.
