Saudi security forces on Thursday prevented the suicide of a young man who was attempting to cross the top of a bridge in the western Taif region.

The young man, who attempted to commit suicide, appeared from the top of Khalid Bin Al Waleed Bridge, in the center of the province, in a video clip widely circulated in Saudi Arabia.

The young man began committing suicide by photographing the security men early in the situation and published it via Snape Chat, while the information confirmed that the person in question was in an abnormal state .

The young man appears after hanging on the wall of the bridge, while security guards intervene quickly to prevent him from killing himself before the situation is controlled.

In detail, the unified security operations center received a message from a person who was trying to commit suicide over the bridge so that security forces immediately rushed into the area.

The security guards started managing the situation by negotiating with the person for about an hour with the field officer, in order to dissuade her from going from the bridge to suicide, until she was ignored, controlled and restrained.

Therefore, the person was surrendered to the police station of al-Sharqiya to complete the necessary legal action.
