The US company Watsab has been forced to take further action this month in its application to strengthen the protection of privacy on iPhone devices after the discovery of a bug of concern.
Once the new email application released new security features based on biometrics, such as facial recognition or fingerprints, to lock the application, a Redit user discovered a security breach that allowed a user to bypass the new feature.
Any user can replace the new security features by using file sharing for iPhone phones, through which video files are sent.
When you send a share file to a friend who has an iPhone phone with the app lock feature for a while, the app stays open and does not shut down automatically.
This allows hackers to send multiple video files and keep the phone open for a while, even if the lock feature is active, unless the lockout delay is set to Immediate if the application is not used.
"We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution soon," said Watsab spokesman. We recommend users to enable the option to lock the screen instantly. "
