The Hayabusa-2 probe revealed an abundance of minerals on the Ryugo asteroid containing combined oxygen and hydrogen atoms in a single group, likely to become water under certain conditions .

According to a report from the Japan Space Agency (JAXA), discovered after research on the surface of the asteroid with the help of a spectrometer, the probe has launched a metal rod on the asteroid, and then collected rock fragments with the help of a special vacuum cleaner.

It should be noted that the spacecraft landed in late February on the asteroid located 340 million kilometers from our planet, between Earth and Mars.
