Social media pioneers have circulated reports that the apartment of late Egyptian actress Faten Hamama has been sold at public auction.
Faten’s apartment in a building named “Libon” on Zamalek Street in Cairo, and the district’s official announcement read: “He advertises the public auction with the closed envelope system. Almost a square, fully finished, registered in the month of real estate, payment facilities, Wednesday October 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at the company headquarters in Dokki, Giza.
Followers expressed shock at the news and felt the apartment should be turned into a museum.
