Batmeh was also convicted of having disseminated and distributed through information systems statements and photos of people without their consent, and of disseminating false facts with the intention of invading the privacy of persons with the intention to defame them, to have participated in them, to threaten and to obstruct them. the operation of this system.
In contrast, the initial verdict against the singer’s sister, Ibtisam Batmeh, stood for a year in prison.
Donia Batma has repeatedly denied her connection to the controversial narrative and has confirmed that she is campaigning by people who want to offend her and undermine her “artistic success”.
Batmah was banned from traveling several months ago and canceled her follow-up with a number of artists on the “Instagram” site, hinting that they had not supported her in the recent crisis.
Artists and celebrities in Morocco and abroad have said that the “Hamza Moon Bibi” story for which Batma was sentenced had ruined the lives of many of them.
Batma comes from an ancient family of Moroccan artists, and her star rose to prominence at the Arab level after her participation in the “Arab Idol” talent program.
