To celebrate Sports Day, many events and activities take place in various sectors of Qatari society: men, women, children and people with special needs.
The Aspire Sports Academy, the cultural district of Katara, the Qatar Foundation, the Doha Corniche and the Museum Park will host the events of the 2019 Sports Day, East, West, North and South events. as well as events reserved for women.
In December 2011, an Emiri decree was issued adopting the second Tuesday of February each year as a sports day in Qatar.
