Sherine Abdel Wahab's lawyer asks the union of musicians to cancel his decision to stop singing

Hossam Lotfy, the Egyptian artist's lawyer Sherine Abdel Wahab, asked in an official letter to the Egyptian artist Hani Shaker, in his capacity as president of the Union of Egyptian Music Professions, to Cancel the decision to arrest Shirin for having accused her of insulting Egypt during her recent concert in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Egyptian artist's lawyer has received a letter from the union, which provides for the appearance of Sherine Abdel Wahab for investigation next Wednesday, March 27.

Hossam Lutfi called on the union, represented by its president, to compel the plaintiff to present the video recording of the concert – the solution of the crisis – in order to compare it to the video clip "The Producer" which was broadcast online .

The Egyptian artist's lawyer explained the reasons for his request to annul the decision of arrest, because Shirin's statement was at the request of one of the Participants at the ceremony to make the song "Msrbtsh of Neilha", refused Sheren, explaining that she refused that this song would make her take up jail time before the abolition of the absence of crime.

He confirmed that the student of the song had completed his conversation with Shirin, reassuring her that she was in a country other than Egypt. Sheren said: "Here I speak in my comfort, in Egypt, they can imprison me."

In his speech, the lawyer continued: "We demand the cancellation of the waqf decision to maintain the presumption of innocence inherent in the man, before punishing him, to confront him to evidence and discuss it. "

He confirmed Cherine's commitment to participate in the investigation, unless the Committee plans to amend the report later.
