In his speech at the opening of the Arab Labor Conference yesterday, delivered on his behalf by Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower, President El-Sisi added that these challenges force us to move forward towards preparation. appropriate strategies to advance comprehensive Arab development and ensure its activation on the ground, and to strengthen and support economic cooperation. Exchange information and experiences among us, work to remove obstacles and barriers to integration among Arab countries, and access new and advanced mechanisms to achieve comprehensive Arab regional integration by facilitating intra-regional integration on trade, the exchange of goods and services, the transfer of capital and the promotion of joint investments, as well as the facilitation of the movement of labor between our Arab countries.

The president stressed that it is absolutely certain that this will not be achieved by wish and desire, but serious and swift action must be taken and the national interest of the Arab nation is preferred, and any dispute must be avoided and even overcome in a way to achieve our common development goals..

He explained that the Arab nation is rooted in its civilization in the depths of history and carries with it the elements of success, progress and advancement that enhance the means of cooperation and joint integration, such as language , civilization, religion, culture and neighborhood. ..

He appreciated all the efforts, measures and decisions taken by the Arab countries to face the Corona crisis, limit its impact on the working environment and employment, in particular irregular employment, and preserve the rights and the earnings of all workers and take care of their interests. real jobs for young people, economic empowerment of women and integration of people with disabilities.

In a related context, Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower, said at the opening of the 47th session of the Arab Labor Conference, which is being held in Cairo, and which he chairs: “This conference was honored with the high patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his address to Arab delegations at the start of events, ”referring to my tenure to attend the conference on his behalf, which reflects the President’s continued interest in labor and worker issues, and his true conviction that the solidarity and integration of the nation in labor matters is one of the main pillars of Arab unity.
