Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – After Qatar won the second gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, it ranked first in the Arab world among the list of Arab countries participating in the Olympics, as ‘he placed 23rd with two gold medals in high jump and weightlifting.
The list included 4 other Arab countries that have won medals at the Olympics so far. Tunisia came in 41st Arab position with two medals, one gold and the other silver. Jordan placed 65th on the list, having escaped with a silver medal. In fourth place in the Arab world, Egypt placed 71st with two bronze medals, and finally Kuwait placed 73rd with a bronze medal.
