Some Windows 10 users complain that Cortana consumes a lot of computing resources.

We know that Google Chrome consumes a lot of RAM, but for some users, they have the opportunity to continue using this browser only because of the features that it offers them and their long use. However, what happens if a feature you've never used consumed your computer's resources, would not it be embarrassing?

Unfortunately for some Windows users, it seems that after upgrading to KB4512941 version of Windows 10, many users have reported a bug causing Cortana to consume too many resources. In case you do not know, Cortana is the Microsoft Digital Assistant who hopes to compete with similar solutions, such as Apple's Siri and Google's Google Assistant.

Some users have expressed the consumption of all the resources of Cortana's digital assistant, and their computers are now slow. According to some, Cortana consumes 30 to 40% of computing resources, even unused. Worse, Microsoft had the opportunity to fix the problem before the release of the update, but for some reason, it did not.

In the update test, users provided feedback through the company's Feedback Hub, where some referred to processing issues. We hope that, given the growing number of complaints, Microsoft will review the update.
