Back in February this year, Sony announced the Xperia 10 II phone which was the then successor to the Xperia 10 phone launched in 2019 and launched the Xperia 10 Plus last year, which left us wondering where the Xperia was going. 10 II More? Well, it looks like there won’t be a phone by that name from Sony because it has been canceled.
It has been reported that Sony decided to cancel the Xperia 10 II Plus phone equipped with the Snapdragon 720 processor because it wanted to focus entirely on 5G technology and rely on it completely, and therefore decided to cancel the phone. Xperia 10 II Plus which was developed using the Snapdragon 720 processor with the knowledge that this has already been monitored.The phone can be found in the EEC database under the code name XQ-AQ52 / 53.
It remains to be seen whether Sony will bring us the phone with a new processor that is compatible with 5G networks and a different brand name or not.
