At IFA 2019 in Berlin, Sony has officially unveiled its latest smartphone Xperia 5.
The new Sony Xperia 5 features a 6.1-inch OLED display with FullHD + resolution, an eight-core Snapdragon 855 processor, three 12-megapixel rear cameras for the main unit and 12 megapixels for the camera. wide-angle camera and 12-megapixel camera for the wide-angle camera.
The new Sony Xperia 5 also comes with two speakers supported by Dolby Atmos technology.For the first speaker, it is located at the bottom of the device, while the earphone serves as second speaker to create a stereo effect.
Like its big brother Xperia 1, the new Sony Xperia 5 is also equipped with the Creator mode. However, it beats the Xperia 1 with an additional feature called "smart connectivity," a feature that learns the phone's behavior with LTE and WiFi signals so that it automatically switches to LTE mode when it predicts that you are not within range of your WiFi network.
Because the new Xperia 5 has a smaller screen and smaller dimensions than the Xperia 1, it has a smaller battery with a capacity of 3,140 mA while supporting a load fast 18W. Regarding the operating system, the new Xperia 5 comes with Android 9 Pie preloaded, but is naturally qualified to receive the latest Android 10 update from Google.
Initially, the Xperia 1 will be supplied with the Sony WF-1000XM3 noise reduction headset. Pre-orders on this phone will begin next week, while delivery is scheduled for October.
