A number of celebrities and art stars attended the opening ceremonies of the National Theater Festival, including Sawsan Badr, Mahmoud Hamida, Shadi El Daly, Manal Salama, Mohsen Mansour, Fatima Naout, Ahmed Shaker Abdel Latif, Rami Gheit and others.

The director of the Egyptian National Theater Festival during its second session, chaired by the actor Ahmed Abdel Aziz and the Minister of Culture, Inas Abdel Dayem, paid tribute to ten of the greatest creators of various performing arts during the inauguration at the Grand Theater of the Opera of Egypt.

The creators of the play were honored by the actor Youssef Shaaban, the writer Yosri Al-Jundi, Mr. Assem Al-Badawi, director of the National Theater, the actor Lutfi Labib, the director Mohsen Helmy, actress Sawsan Badr, artist Ali Al-Hajjar and Dr. Abed Rabbo Abed Rabbo, professor of decoration. At the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and actor Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, who cried during the award, actress Hala Fakher and playwright and novelist Mr. Hafez.

Al-Fishawi was honored after his summons to the session but was stolen by death.
Ahmed Abdul Aziz wanted to offer the honor of Al-Fishawi himself to his son Omar Farouk Al-Fishawi in the presence of his mother, actress Sumaya Al-Alfy, who cried while watching Habib's honor, the divorced Farouk Fishawi.

The opening ceremony was completed by a commemorative meeting of all the artists in the honor with the Minister of Culture, Mr. Inas Abdel Dayem, and the president and director of the festival.
