Stardock is back with another app to polish the look of your Windows Start menu. This time it’s for Windows 11, which hasn’t fully released yet. Start11 is available in beta and brings the classic Windows Start menu back to Windows 11.
“This first beta is designed to restore some of the functionality lost in the current Windows 11 Start menu,” said Brad Wardle, CEO of Stardock. “We’ve got a lot of great new features planned to make the Start menu not only more accessible, but also more useful for businesses and power users. “

Start11 includes a setup user interface that will support future Start menu designs, according to Stardock. While the previous Start10 app aimed to bring the classic Windows 7 Start menu back to Windows 10, Start11 will go even further in the future to add additional functionality to the Windows 11 Start menu.
“Start11 will extend this to support a range of new Start menu ideas such as the concept of pages and tabs, simplicity and functionality for our corporate customers,” said Wardle.
The beta version of Start11 available today, $ 4.99, offers a choice of a Windows 7-style Start menu or a more modern menu that brings back some of the classic Start menu style and functionality.
