Engineering and construction studies have confirmed the uselessness of any repairs. "

In its report dated February 20, 2014, the Jeddah City Buildings Committee, in partnership with the Electricity Company, the General Authority of Tourism and National Heritage, the Directorate General of Civil Defense , the Jeddah Province Traffic Department and the Jeddah Province Secretariat, said: Remove the building and the futility to renovate it. "

The statement added: "The Authority confirms that it has taken very seriously the question of the preservation and rooting of the national heritage represented by the said building, in accordance with the institutional work carried out during the past period, both with respect to the building itself and the work of the media accomplished over the years of use. "

"The TRA reassures everyone that she is safe in the archives of the new building and that she is committed to the Vision 2030 initiatives."
