Al-Marsad Newspaper: STC announced its shocking decision regarding the marketing sponsorship agreement on television and digital transport for the Saudi Professional League, signed with the General Authority of Sport and the Saudi Football Federation.
The company confirmed in a statement that it decided not to maintain the agreement because of its commercial feasibility given the evolution of the mechanism of television and digital transport, pointing out that she was currently working to put an end to these agreements after the conclusion of the negotiations in this respect with the sports authorities and the Football Federation. The decision should not have a significant financial impact.
The company signed a sponsorship agreement with the Saudi league in August 2018 and transmitted television and digital for 10 years from the beginning of the season (2019/2018), for an annual fee of 660 million riyals.
