According to Techradar, you can take some steps to capture a "screen capture" from a Windows 10 computer.
To capture screenshots across the entire Windows 10 screen, simply press the PrtScn key. However, you must paste this image into an application such as Microsoft Paint, which can then be saved as an image file.
To capture an active frame or a smaller part of the existing screen, press the Alt and Print keys simultaneously when changing the screen. There is no easy way to capture a screenshot for the selected area only with the help of the cutter.
To access a cutting tool, follow these steps:
– Go to the Cortana search box / next to the Start button
– Type "snipping" and the program will appear.
– On the Tools menu, click the arrow next to New, and then you can select what you want to draw by drawing a line around any area of the screen to capture.
– Then use the File menu to save the image.
If you upgrade to the Windows 10 October 2018 update, you will find that the trim tool does not exist anymore and that it is replaced by what we have call Snip & Sketch.
