Al-Hayat said that the board of directors had decided to suspend the program in the context of a recent episode, stressing that the suspension would be maintained until the end of the Supreme Media Council investigations. with Reham Said, and that the position of the program would be announced at the end of the investigation.
For its part, the media union, led by Tarek Saada, said that by referring to the report of the Media Observatory of the Syndicate of Professional and Ethical Abuse of the broadcast "Sabaya al- Khair "and that in reviewing the union's registration schedules, it appeared that Reham Said was not bound by the union's calendars. Permission to exercise the profession, in violation of Law No. 93 of 2016, which prohibits the exercise of a media activity without registration or obtaining a license from the union.
The Union decided to prevent the media from carrying on their activities until they were documented in accordance with the provisions of Articles (2-19) of the Journalists' Syndicate Act, so that that the channel is not legally allowed to allow non-media to engage in media activities.
The union also decided to inform the public prosecutor of the said activity for violation of the rules of registration in the union.
