Recent study results have shown that white rice consumption has nothing to do with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes.

It has long been believed that white rice leads to high blood sugar levels, warned scientists and dieticians, based on the findings of various studies, according to Rambler.

However, experts at the National University of Singapore found that daily consumption of large quantities of white rice did not result in high blood sugar and type 2 diabetes.

Academic experts have come to this conclusion after a detailed and analytical study of diabetes cases in different Asian countries, where white rice is a staple in the daily diet. They also studied the effect of pasta and bread on the disease by monitoring the Chinese community in Singapore.

The results of their study clearly indicate that rice consumption does not increase the risk of type 2 diabetes, but that the risk of illness is related to food consumed by the population as well as rice.

When you eat a pasta dish instead of rice, red meat and chicken every day, the risk of developing type 2 diabetes increases. Eating whole grain bread or white bread reduces the risk of diabetes.
