Although weight gain has serious health effects and is one of the leading causes of many diseases, a new study has linked weight gain with prevention of stroke.

The excess weight protects shots:

"Some time ago, our colleagues noticed that being overweight increased the risk of survival for patients with serious heart and kidney disease," says Zulio Liu of the University of California at Los Angeles. So we decided to check the relationship between obesity and stroke.

Weight gain and health:

European and American doctors have recently discovered positive side effects on being overweight: for example, those who suffer from it are still alive when they suffer from serious infectious diseases. They also live longer after being diagnosed with heart failure than others.

The researchers also noted that patients with leanness did not recover from the effects of stroke compared with moderate weight holders.
