A Briton underwent major surgery during which a malignant tumor was removed from his brain in full consciousness. Surgeons were asked to examine the tumor.
James Henegan, 39, of Manchester, England, returned from Australia after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015.
The man underwent surgery, the first of its kind, to remove the tumor that was in the second phase, at Charing Cross Hospital in London, where the operation was performed in full consciousness.
Three years after the operation, Mr. Henigan has returned to normal and is now in good health, but he is undergoing a check every six months to make sure that the disease does not belong to him, reported the Daily Mail.
