The Supreme Court announced that Saturday, corresponding to 1/1 / 1441H according to the calendar of Umm Al-Qura, corresponds to the first month of Muharram for this year 1441H.
Today, the Supreme Court reads as follows:
Praise be to Allah alone, peace and blessings to our prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions, and after: The President and members of the Supreme Court have been informed of the reports of the courts and committees of Al-Turai concerning the Moharram crescent appearance 2:41 pm on Friday afternoon. According to the testimony of a number of unjust witnesses, the Supreme Court ruled that on Saturday, January 1, 1441 H, according to the calendar of Umm Al-Qura, the month of Muharram begins for this year. 1441 AH
And ask Almighty God to reconcile Muslims to work as He pleases, to reunite them and to gather their word, and to have peace and blessings on our prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
