English newspaper “Mirror” has revealed that Liverpool management, a professional in their ranks, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, are planning to bolster the team’s defense line in the ongoing winter transfers.
The newspaper said Liverpool had teamed up to negotiate with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos to sign him during the winter transfer window, especially as captain Merengue’s future has become highly ambiguous and the Veteran center-back will expire at the end of the season.
The newspaper said Liverpool will find it very difficult to compete with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Manchester City who want to include the player.
Mohamed Salah suffered a serious shoulder injury after a violent intervention by Ramos, which caused his exit from the Champions League final, and affected his presence of the Egyptian national team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
