Tesla Motors announced Thursday the closure of all its stores and the transfer of its sales worldwide to the digital store.
Tesla's decision to reduce the price of the standard version of its model 3 to 35,000 USD was sold after selling around 46,000 USD.
The company said closing the stores would help sell its cars at lower prices, while keeping a few stores as exhibitors and information centers.
The company will give its customers a week or a thousand miles to test the car before returning it if they no longer wish to buy.
