The explosion of the port of Beirut was only a reflection of the explosion of the political and economic situation in Lebanon, and indeed in the Arab world as a whole. It’s a momentary metaphor for several internal explosions whose sound was not heard.
“The corruption system has grown bigger than the state!” This is what Hassan Diab, the defeated Prime Minister, said in his resignation speech: corruption has crossed all the lines of the rainbow until reaching the bottom and rebounding against itself, and the explosion happened!
Will other peoples and regimes in the region benefit from the lesson before it’s too late ?!

Presentations and indicators

The explosion was perhaps surprising in terms of timing, but the big event inevitably came, as all the introductions and indicators were there, and the problem was only a matter of time.
When British forces withdrew from Greater Syria, leaving behind their ally King Faisal and his Arab revolutionaries, allowing French forces to advance, as they later did in Palestine, allowing Zionist gangs to s ‘seize the land, the French commander Guru was able to crush the Arab revolution and quickly expel King Faisal, but that was not the worst, as French colonialism divided Greater Syria (including what Lebanon is now called) into sectarian and ethnic regions, and has made each of them what is called autonomous regions, in the practical implementation of the strategy of (divide and rule).
This division had a magical act, as there was no list of true Arab nationalism after that and all we won were empty slogans which proved to be futile and disastrous on the ground, through which we have managed to hide our differences and our divisions only, and with the first flame of the peaceful revolution in Syria with the uprising of the Arab Spring, appeared The real division, and it seemed that the revolution was a Sunni revolution against the Alawites, Shiites and Safavids, although it was a social revolution against tyranny and corruption.
As for Lebanon, the case is more bitter, if the situation continues, as if French colonialism was still in place, as if it was governed from a distance, and this was confirmed when tens of thousands of people signed a document calling for the return of the “French mandate” to the country recently, and their condition says: We do not want to be united or not We want a homeland, but at least we want to protect the sects in the country, so that we do not Destroy -you!

Sectarian and ethnic discrimination

The explosion that Lebanon witnessed was nothing but an explosion in the face of sectarian division, which led the kings of sects to control the fate of the country and the plight of millions of its inhabitants, and the problem is that the Lebanese are still blaming themselves to this day for the responsibility of the corrupt, dear ones, we are all responsible or we are all thieves, no difference, as long as we believe in sectarian and ethnic discrimination, and we revere the constitution which divides the posts and chairs along sectarian lines!
A list for Lebanon or other countries will only be based on faith in pluralism, freedom of expression and working to establish a civil state, based on national foundations, and not on the basis of colonial divisions, sectarian kings, priesthood leaders and masses.
A few days ago, the other explosion occurred, when the UAE announced its agreement with the Zionist occupation state, on normalization between the two countries and consolidation of the basis for cooperation between them.

Emirati-Israeli standardization

In light of the current situation and the continued violations of international agreements in the Palestinian arena, the persistence of robbing the Palestinian people of their lowest rights, insisting on the Jewishness of the state and blocking the way to any solution future, the Emirati step towards normalization can only be described as a stab in the back of the Arab nation and the Palestinian cause.
As for the commercialization of this normalization following the success of the Emiratis in stopping the annexation of the Jordan Valley project, it is a glaring error: the occupation is like rewarding the thief and blocking the road to keep the victim alive!
Emirati-Israeli normalization is a free prize for Trump and Netanyahu, and an achievement that both can be proud of, in a desperate attempt to save each other. As for the biggest beneficiary of this, it was the occupation state which was able to break Arab ranks and was able to establish the principle of the Greater Middle East “once again” on the same old colonial principle; A Jewish state that lives side by side with the Sunni, Shiite and Alevis states … etc. They are united by economic and political interests. The states there are not afraid of the “friendly” Zionist Jews, but themselves!
Once again we say the timing was surprising, but the explosion was not. On the contrary, it is also a reflection of the state of fragmentation of the Arab world, with the dissolution of the common values and concerns of the one Arab nation, and the concern of each state or state with its internal affairs.
Normalization inevitably happened, and it was preceded by the harbingers of cultural, sporting and commercial coexistence and normalization, and it was prepared through the media and series that talk about the history of the Jews in the region and their human rights. to settle and coexist with the peoples of the region, and the question was a matter of time and nothing more. The UAE will be a gesture of encouragement to the rest of the countries who are reluctant to announce its normalization!
The Arab world today has become the case of “Greater Lebanon”, a country ruled by kings of sects, waiting for the big bang, after which we will mourn our fortunes and blame each other, ignoring and denying that we are all responsible, or we are all corrupt, or we are all thieves, no difference!
