The arrival of the delegations participating in the Arab Summit in Tunis

Arab summit spokesman Mahmoud Al-Khumairi announced the arrival of Arab delegations attending the summit scheduled for late March in Tunis, in parallel with the finalization of the logistics preparations for the Arab date.

Al Khmeri said in a statement to Al Ain News that Tuesday would be devoted to preparatory meetings of senior officials of foreign ministries and the Secretariat to discuss social and economic issues, and Wednesday at the preparatory meeting of Arab foreign ministers.

The summit will be chaired by the guardian of two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who will visit Tunis Friday, the spokesman said.

The spokesman for the summit, responsible for Arab relations at the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Saudi Arabia held a prominent place in the hearts of Tunisians, adding that Riyadh had helped Tunisia with subsidized loans from 200 million dinars (66 million dollars).

The spokesman for the Arab summit said he would deal with many issues, including the fight against terrorism and the challenges facing the Arab region, about the issues to be addressed at the Arab summit.

He stressed that the meeting would constitute the "Arab Awakening Summit" in the face of the enormous challenges facing the Arab world, highlighting the presence of Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi, Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Issa Awad Ali Yusuf and the Comoros Mohammed Amin in the summer.

On Syria's return to the Arab League, Al-Khumairi pointed out that Syria's return to the university could only be achieved by a decision of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers, which does not include the Arab League. has not yet been brought forward, raising the possibility of raising the issue at the summit.

The Arab League suspended Syria's accession to the Cairo summit in March 2011.
