Bangladeshi women were stunned by doctors who gave birth to healthy twins 26 days after her premature birth.
Ariva Sultana, 20, gave birth to a child last month after a normal birth, but doctors have not noticed a second pregnancy.
Sheila Budir, a female doctor who treated the woman, said she did not know that Sultana was still pregnant with twins. Twenty-six days after her first baby, she rushed to us after feeling work.
Last Friday, Bodier organized an emergency caesarean section to generate twins, a boy and a girl. The woman, who lives in Jessore province in southwestern Bangladesh, was allowed to return home Tuesday with her three children.
"I have not seen a similar situation in my career for more than 30 years," said provincial doctor Dileep Roy.
Sultana, who lives in a poor family, expressed her happiness with the three children but worried about the cost of their education. Her husband is a laborer whose monthly salary is only 70 dollars.
