The United Arab Emirates will host the 17th edition of the 2019 Asian Cup, which begins today against the United Arab Emirates with Bahrain, while the final will be played on 1 February.
There are 11 Arab teams in the tournament and the Arabs are looking to win their sixth title, after 5 previous titles, 3 for Saudi Arabia and a title for Kuwait and Iraq.
The opening ceremony is expected to be attended by nearly 300 million viewers on international television.
The Asian Cup will have 51 matches and will be held for the second time in the United Arab Emirates.
The tournament opens at 8:00 pm United Arab Emirates time, when the host country faces Bahrain.
All games will be broadcast on SPORTS MAX 1 HD AR, BEIN SPORTS MAX 2 HD AR and Alkass EXTRA One HD.
