CountryKUALA LUMPUR: Samsung is preparing to relaunch its Galaxy Folder smartphone after months of unsuccessful debut, media reports said on Monday.
The British "Sun" newspaper is expected to relaunch the folding smartphone "Galaxy Fold" on 6 September.
This date coincides with the opening of IFA Berlin, Berlin's industrial fair, one of the oldest industrial and commercial fairs in Germany and the world, where Samsung will be present.
In February, Samsung unveiled Galaxy Flood to start selling it in April, but after a sample of it was presented to technical journalists, a number of issues emerged.

Samsung then issued a statement about the problems faced by reviewers of its first collapsible phone, Galaxy Fold.
According to the statement, Samsung would have "received a number of information on his phone, stating that he was examining the damaged devices.
Samsung has asked not to remove the top protective screen of the phone, as this could damage it and cause scratches.
She explained that removing the protective layer or adding other adhesives to the main screen of the phone was detrimental to the screen, noting that this information would be clearly included for customers .
