The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has published an infographic illustrating the most significant fines in the offense table and the corresponding penalties.
The fines included: 25,000 riyals for not providing a workplace conducive to the respect of workers' privacy, as well as for the fact that the establishment did not apply the disciplinary decision taken to the 39 against the worker found guilty.
It also provided for a fine of 20,000 riyals, allowing the employer to distinguish between the candidates for work, to not provide toilets to the workers and to offer them a place where they could perform their prayers.
He was also fined 15,000 riyals for failing to set up a committee to investigate cases of offenses occurring in the working environment.
A fine of 10,000 riyals is also applied for failure on the part of the employer to establish a monthly salary protection file, for the employment of women after childbirth and for the lack of money. involvement of the licensee in recruitment activities and specific costs.
A fine of R5,000 is imposed for failing to rehabilitate and train at least 12 per cent of Saudi workers and failing to provide written circulars obliging workers to adhere to a decent dress code.
The scale of fines included 2,000 riyals for not penalizing the offending worker and 1,000 riyals for the worker's employment without a written and documented contract of employment.
