A report released by the Nimbo Foundation found that Dubai and Doha are still the most expensive to live in compared to major cities in Arab countries, while Damascus and Tunisia are the cheapest.

The Nimbo 2020 index measures the cost of living based on estimates of the consumer’s basket of groceries and goods, in addition to the prices of water, electricity and transport services in each city, with the purchasing power of the inhabitants of these cities calculated.

The index ranks the cost of living in 440 cities around the world.
