On August 12, NASA's Parker Solar Probe satellite captured an image of nearly 27 million kilometers of sun.
The main task of the probe is to reach as close as possible to the sun and touch its crown of fire. This unit is equipped with a protective screen that does not allow it to melt in very high temperature conditions exceeding one thousand degrees.
According to scientists' forecasts, Parker's solar probes in the next seven years are expected to approach 6.16 million kilometers from the sun – this is the maximum point of convergence.
