An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced Ahmed El Fishawy to one month in prison for failing to pay his daughter Lina.
This decision is part of an extension of the legal dispute between Fishawi, the son of star actor Farouk Fishawi, and divorced Hind Hanaw.
Al-Fishawi has taken legal action through the intermediary of his lawyer, Shaaban Said, the attorney;
Al-Fishawi's lawyer revealed in press statements that the verdict is executory and without appeal.
The artist was informed of the payment order, the investigation proved his ability to pay and the case was reserved for the verdict.
He added: "In case of arrest, he will be obliged to apply the sentence pronounced against him or to pay child support to his daughter".
