Lebanese filmmaker Simon Asmar died at the age of 76 following a bout of cancer.
It should be noted that Asmar is suffering from a health crisis related to cancer of the urinary tract and prostate. Complications were also experienced by the kidneys, which had already undergone a kidney transplant, which required hospitalization for medical care.
Asmar founded the "Studio of Art" in Lebanon, which has contributed to the discovery of many Lebanese and Arab singers in recent decades.
