The Jordanian artist Nabil al-Mashini, nicknamed "Abu Awad" in the local series "Abu Abu Awad", died Saturday at the age of 80 in Amman.

Born in Jerusalem, Nabil al-Mashini was born in 1939. He is the son of the Jordanian artist Isaac al-Mashini and the brother of the artist who left very young, Osama al-Mashini.
