LONDON (Reuters) – Former Ghanaian international striker and Zamalek Junior Agogo footballer died Thursday at the age of 40 in Ghana, Ghanaian media reported.
Agogo was hospitalized in 2015 after suffering a stroke. In April 2019, the attacker revealed that he could no longer write with his right hand after a stroke occurred four years ago.
For its part, revealed "Ghana Soccer", that Agogo died this morning in London from the aftermath of a stroke.
Agogo caught the eye during the 2008 African Nations Cup, scoring three goals to attract the attention of the Zamalek officials who drew him into his team.
