The Cinema Trades Union in Egypt has announced that the writer and screenwriter Faisal Nada died today, Tuesday, from an illness, at the age of 81.
Nada is one of the few Egyptian screenwriters to have excelled in writing for various fields of theater, film, television and radio, and his works have been characterized by sarcastic social criticism.
In a statement from the Ministry of Culture, Minister Inas Abdel Dayem said the deceased “left an artistic legacy in which he expressed Egyptian society and approached its problems in a distinctive way,” stressing that “his creations constitute a important part of the history of cinema, theater and television in Egypt and the Arab world. “

Nada was born in Cairo in 1940 and graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University, from which he began his artistic career in the acting team.
Among his most notable films are (Ya Rab Walad), (Desouki Effendi in the Resort), (The judge and the executioner), (Professor Samah), (The case of Samiha Badran), (The girls and the Mercedes) , (Legs in the Mud) and (The Sweet Liar Girl), as well as (The Great Loyalty) on the war of October 6, 1973.
With the duo Samir Ghanem and George Sidhom, he presents successful theatrical works, including (Married Persons), (Welcome, Doctor), (For a Handful of Women) and (Couples Without a Past), and his successes continue on scene in (Al-Saida, they have arrived) and (a million pound market). ) and (teachers and private lessons).
