The discovery of a giant "cannonball" in the galaxy of the Milky Way

Milky Way scientists discovered the pulsar "PSR J0002 + 6216" or "Zoomy", which looks like a cannonball and is moving in space at 1130 kilometers per second.

According to Science Alert, scientists believe that the explosion of the supernova is at the origin of this high speed, leaving the neutron star intact.

Zoomy lies at 6500 light-years away and lies in the constellation Cassiopeia, 53 light-years away from the center of the CTB 1 supernova explosion.

Astronomers have also discovered the tail of this ball, which extends over 13 light-years. The calculations confirmed that the explosion had occurred in the center of the future haze.

According to astronomers, the explosion occurred about 10,000 years ago and the "PSR J0002 + 6216" will finally leave the Milky Way galaxy and continue its interstellar motion in space.
