The Egyptian Youth Forum is a good platform to exchange experiences between Arabs and Africans

Ambassador Nemira Najem, Legal Adviser of the African Union, will participate in the opening of the Arab-African Youth Forum at the official invitation to be held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi from March 16 to 18 in Aswan.

The Ambassador said in a press release today that the forum was the implementation of one of the recommendations of the 2018 World Youth Forum, which envisaged the creation of an interactive platform for young Arabs and Africans, to discuss the important challenges that both regions face.

She explained that the forum demonstrated that young people from the Arab region and Africa shared a lot of history, in addition to the current situation, which made their cooperation necessary for the development of their country and believed that these young people were able to formulate a promising vision for integration between the African continent and the Arab world.

Najm viewed the forum as a platform for young people from both regions to share their experiences so that participants could discuss various topics of interest to enhance cooperation between Arab and African countries.

There will be numerous roundtables, workshops, panel discussions and forum events that will bridge promising young leaders, policymakers, politicians and experts from different fields to define a vision of youth for a better future. .

The African Union legal adviser said that the forum was one of the platforms of the World Youth Forum, designed to give young Egyptians and their counterparts around the world the opportunity to develop and support their ideas in all areas, through the organization of several events throughout the year.

The agenda of the 2019 Forum revolves around many issues and topics of interest to Arab and African youth, especially under the Egyptian presidency of the African Union, where different forms Events vary between sessions, workshops and round tables, including youth leaders and policy makers during an open dialogue on key concerns.
