The Ambassador of Egypt to Serbia, Ambassador Amr Al-Juwaili, welcomed the speech of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, who cited Egypt's participation in the Belgrade book fair in October, as a representative of Arab literature and thought, a cultural participation bringing together the Arab peoples and Serbia.
The director of the National Library of Serbia, who congratulated Egypt for providing books for the installation of an Arab flag in the library, also attached to a memorandum of cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The Ambassador of Egypt in Belgrade said that the group of Arab ambassadors in Belgrade took the initiative last year by organizing an integrated celebration of the anniversary of the creation of the League of Arab States, focusing on the triangle of language, poetry, music and food, as part of an exemplary collective activity. .
He stressed that overcrowding in the presence of the Serbian side and the diplomatic corps, despite their size, reflected the interest of a large part of the Serbian people for Arab culture and the growing number of Arabic speakers. , many of whom traveled to Egypt last February to participate in the Golden Jubilee of the Cairo International Book Fair.
