Khwaitem al-Harthy, the father of a primary school student strangled to death by his colleague yesterday, recounted the events that occurred on the day of the tragedy that preceded the departure of his son.
Al-Harthy said his 12-year-old son did not want to go to school that day.
The father pointed out that his son, who is studying at Bishr ibn al-Walid primary school in the Laban suburb of Riyadh, was superior.

He added: "It seems that the fight has been between the students. He defended himself and ran with a group of students. He came across another student. One of them held his breath, even though my son had no illness.

Security authorities received a report from the school stating a fight between the students, which resulted in the death of one of them. The rescue attempts of the Red Crescent student failed and he was taken to King Khalid University Hospital, but died on the road.
