Arab countries won 18 medals at the 32nd edition of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, hosted by Japan from June 23 to August 8, 2021.

Qatar tops the list of Arab countries, in terms of the number of gold medals, with two gold medals, in addition to a bronze medal.

While Egypt led the overall Arab ranking, with 6 medals, with gold, silver and four bronze medals.

Here is the table of medals of Arab countries at the Olympic Games of “Tokyo 2020”:

1- Qatar – with two gold medals and one bronze

  • The gold medal in weightlifting was won by weightlifter Faris Ibrahim
  • The high jump gold medal won by Moataz Issa Barshim
  • Men’s Beach Volleyball Bronze Medal

2- Egypt – 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 4 bronze medals

  • The gold medal was won by Faryal Ashraf Abdel Aziz, karate player
  • The silver medal was won by Ahmed Al-Jundi in the modern pentathlon competitions
