Al-Marsad Journal – Reuters: The World Health Organization has announced that the new type of Corona virus discovered in Britain is spreading faster, but it is not more dangerous.
UK Health Minister Matt Hancock on Monday announced the identification of what has been described as “a new type of Corona virus which may be linked to the virus spreading faster in the south-east of the country” .
Hancock told Parliament, noting that more than 1,000 cases of corona have been recorded in recent days, most of them in the south of the country.
The British Minister underlined in this context that “the initial analysis indicates that this variable virus is growing faster”.
Hancock stressed that there is “currently no indication that the new type of virus can cause serious illness,” also noting that this new mutation is unlikely to defeat the anti-vaccine.
