Tunisia has signed an agreement for the launch of the first satellite "Tahadi 1" aboard the Russian spacecraft "Soyuz 2", made with Tunisian expertise in anticipation of the year 2020.

The Renaissance party deputy and businessman Mohammed Farikha signed an agreement with Russian companies that pledged to transfer the first Tunisian satellite "Tahadi 1" into space through the 39, an intermediary of its space carriers, as well as another group of satellites of up to 30 multidisciplinary satellites.

Farikha and Alexander Sarfkin, CEO of Launch Services and Space Services (AKS), signed the agreement at the Digital Research Center in Sfax, in the south-east of the country, the first of its kind in this area.
