Huawei's Chinese founder, Ran Zengfai, said his family members were using Apple phones and products instead of using Huawei.
"Steve Jobs is a wonderful person who has changed the face of human society," he said in an interview with the Canadian TV channel CTV.
He pointed out that he hated the name he had chosen for his business, while the memory did not know why he had chosen the name "Huawei", which means "Chinese achievements", but could not give up that name, worth billions of dollars.
Zengvai, whose military background still follows him, revealed that his daughter, the company's chief financial officer, Ming Wenchu, had wanted to resign several months before his detention crisis in Canada.
Zengfai sees her daughter as a good manager, but not an heir to her job because she does not have the expertise to manage the leadership of the company who must have a vision of 20 to 30 years.
