The impression of the muzzle and the face … Apple finds a “partial” solution for iPhone users

Amman-tomorrowSince the spread of the new Corona virus “Covid-19” and the imposition of wearing a muzzle in many countries around the world, iPhone users have faced an issue of using facial prints to unlock their smartphones.

These developments have prompted Apple to work on finding a solution to this problem, as the upcoming update for iOS 14.5 smartphones will allow users who wear the mask to unlock iPhones using the Apple smartwatch.

While this procedure allows many who own an Apple smartwatch to open their devices in this way, those who do not own the watch will still suffer from the same problem.

Also, Apple’s new update requires the smartwatch to be close to the phone when you want to open it, as the phone will immediately be unlocked by identifying the owner due to their Apple Watch being in the same location.

This feature is already available on conventional computers produced by Apple, and its use has become more urgent with the spread of the Corona virus, which has forced millions of people around the world to wear muzzles for long hours.

Apple is currently testing iOS 14.5 among developers, who have discovered the possibility of using the new feature, to make it easier for users to unlock their phones, according to Sky News Arabia.

Although the feature only works when the watch is in close proximity to a smartphone, it does not replace the facial print required when paying through the Apple service.
