The annual meeting of the Yasser Arafat Foundation Board of Directors began Wednesday at the League of Arab States in the presence of its secretary, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Amr Moussa, chairman of the board of trustees of the Foundation, said during a speech at the opening of the meeting that the meeting was taking place in difficult regional conditions in the Arab world.
Moussa welcomed the results of the Arab-European summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh and resulted in resolutions on the general situation in the region and on issues of interest to the Arab region, in particular the Palestinian cause. .
Former Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema and Mandela Mandela, grandson of President Nelson Mandela, will attend the meeting.
Mr. Nasser Al-Kidwa, president of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, will present the report of the board of directors to the board of directors.
