The Hiabusa-2 probe has found an abundance of minerals on the Ryugo asteroid containing combined oxygen and hydrogen atoms in a single group, which could become water under certain conditions , according to a report from the Japan Space Agency (JAXA).

According to Kyodo, the discovery would have been made after researching the surface of the asteroid with the help of a spectrometer. The report was prepared by JAXA with the participation of a number of leading universities in Japan for Science magazine.

Do not forget that at the end of February, the space probe had landed on the asteroid, 340 million kilometers from our planet, between Earth and Mars.
